Gold Terra Resource Corp. (YGT:TSX.V; TRXXF:OTC; TXO:FSE) announced in a news release the results of the final six drill holes from Sam Otto at its Yellowknife City gold project in the Northwest Territories.
"Overall, the drilling campaign at Sam Otto was successful in expanding the footprint of the gold mineralized system and indicating the potential to add to the current Inferred mineral resource estimate dated Nov. 4, 2019," President and CEO David Suda said in the release.
Highlights assays included 1.3 grams per ton (1.3 g/t) gold over 50.6 meters (50.6m), including 3.02 g/t gold over 9m, in hole TSO20-083. Hole TSO20-081 returned 1.18 g/t gold over 51.65m, including 2.07 g/t over 11.05m and 2.03 g/t over 13.5m.
Three of the six holes, covering a 300m strike length, intersected wide zones of gold mineralization and remain open at depth and along strike to the north. Two of those three demonstrated greater than 1 g/t gold intersections, the widest ever drilled at Sam Otto.
The remaining three holes, drilled between Sam Otto Main and Sam Otto South, did not intersect significant gold mineralization.
The Sam Otto winter drill program consisted of 34 holes covering 9,622m.
Next for Vancouver's Gold Terra, the company reported, is further expanding the resource at its 790 square kilometer Yellowknife City project via drilling the Crestaurum high-grade deposit as soon as conditions allow it.
