Western Uranium & Vanadium Corp. (WUC:CSE; WSTRF:OTCQX) announced in a news release that it finished all of the surface infrastructure projects required by the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety related to the company's change in status information submittal. Ore pads were installed at the Sunday, West Sunday and St. Jude mines, storm water control structures were upgraded and the legacy low-grade uranium ore stockpile was covered.
With that work completed, "Western's mining team is preparing to recommence extraction operations," the release stated.
Concerning the U.S. government's proposal to establish a strategic uranium reserve, Western Uranium noted that "uranium miners with U.S. based resources continue to anticipate additional favorable support from the Trump administration."
In other news, Western Uranium announced it will attend the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange on March 1 to 4, 2020.
During the event, Western representatives will be at booth #3014 in the Investors Exchange, and its CEO George Glasier will be available for meetings. Also, Glasier will present the company at the PDAC 2020 Investor Luncheon on March 3 at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre.
