Gatling Exploration Inc. (GTR:TSX.V; GATGF:OTCMKTS) announced in a news release it received and analyzed results of the recent Lidar survey of its largely unexplored, 3,370 hectare Larder gold property in Ontario, Canada.
The Lidar method records detailed ground elevation measurements via laser light and sensors.
At Larder, the survey confirmed the existing Cadillac Larder Lake break running through the entire project and identified new north to south trending structures, splays off of the larger system. Gatling will use the results to select additional drill targets for 2020 in priority zones.
The Lidar survey also helped identify outcrops to aid in mapping and prospecting programs. "Outcrop finder maps are generated to identify specific locations which have sharp disruptions in elevations indicating a higher probability of exposed bedrock," the release explained.
The Canadian gold explorer is merging the results of the Lidar survey with those from prior air magnetic surveys and other data obtained in the field.
