Revival Gold Inc. (RVG:TSX.V) reported in a news release that additional drill results from its Arnett project in Idaho continue to expand the oxide gold target there.
Specifically, six holes were drilled in the Haidee target, and all of them hit near-surface oxide mineralization in altered and/or faulted granite, primarily along the system's northern flank.
Intercept highlights from those holes include: 0.44 grams per ton (0.44 g/t) gold over 16.8 meters (16.8m) and 1.95 g/t gold over 20m, from AC19-27D. Hole AC19-28D returned 18.3m of 0.44 g/t gold. Hole AC19-29D showed 0.64 g/t gold over 30.2m and 0.72 g/t gold over 11.3m.
Additionally, three holes were drilled in the Haidee West target, and two encountered near-surface sulfide mineralization hosted by altered granite.
Whereas the results from Haidee West are similar in grade and width to those from Haidee, "gold generally occurs in association with unoxidized pyrite," the released noted. As such, Revival is doing more work on interpreting the controls on mineralization and faulting in the two target areas.
Also, the company intends to release the pending results for the final six holes of the summer 2019 drill program when they become available and update the resource estimate for the entire Beartrack-Arnett project by the end of Q1/20.
