NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) launched a self-service, three-dimensional (3D) augmented reality (AR) publishing platform called ARitize for companies and brands, it announced in a news release.
Entities looking to create immersive, augmented reality experiences around their products and services may now do so themselves with this new ARitize offering, which can be explored at aritize.com.
All a company or brand needs to ARitize itself with NexTech's tool is a GLTF file, the format for 3D models. They can create "digital twins of pretty much anything" using smartphones, scanners or 3D modeling software such as Cinema 4D, Maya and 3D Studio Max, the release noted.
"The race is on to ARitize™ or convert 2D objects into 3D immersive demonstrations with SNAP, Apple and Samsung all racing to be first to market with new 3D mobile scanning and viewing devices. Our platform is an industry first and allows anyone with a 3D model to upload the model and start using it as an AR object immediately, no programming required, which was incredibly hard to do and we believe will be a great tool for helping companies to accelerate AR integration globally," NexTech CEO Evan Gappelberg said in the release.
NexTech sees potential in its ARitize website as a major lead generator for its ARitize software-as-a-service subscription, and therefore intends to update it regularly with new related content.
