UGE International Ltd. (UGE:TSX.V; UGEIF:OTC) announced in a news release it landed a new project, to finance, build and install a financed, 310 kilowatt rooftop solar solution for Primepack Technologies in the Philippines.
This should lower power costs by 40% for this provider of plastic packaging products to several industries, including electronics, data storage, semiconductor, automotive and medical.
The new system, which UGE will deploy for Primepack over the next six months, is expected to yield more than $300,000 of revenue for the solar energy company.
Primepack Operations Manager Leo Tanlimco stated, "In addition to maximizing savings, we are an environmentally conscious company that wants to be known as an earth friendly establishment. We are excited to go solar with UGE."
This latest contract takes UGE's new projects, those in or entering deployment, in the Philippines to 12.
