Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. (SCAN:TSX.V; LD2:FSE) announced in a news release the progress it has made with development of its security product HEXWAVE.
One, the company completed the technology transfer with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology 's Lincoln Labs. MIT created the technology that Liberty Defense has exclusively licensed and is using in HEXWAVE.
Two, Liberty Defense got the array antennas, which the HEXWAVE system requires, installed and working at Atlanta's Liberty Center of Excellence, where the product will be alpha tested starting in Q3/19. Subsequently in Q4/19, Liberty Defense will demonstrate HEXWAVE's subsystem prototypes at the Liberty Center.
After that, the security company's partners will beta test HEXWAVE at their locations, from December 2019 through Q1/20. To date, those entities are FC Bayern Munich, the Vancouver Arena Partnership, Sleiman Enterprises Inc. and the Office of the Utah Attorney General.
The new product introduction phase will follow, during which Liberty Defense will incorporate feedback from the beta testing into HEXWAVE's initial design. The company intends to launch the product in Q3/20.
