NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it will demonstrate its sentiment analysis capabilities for augmented reality (AR) e-commerce on May 31 at the Augmented World Expo USA Conference.
To do so, NexTech's CEO Evan Gappelberg and President Paul Duffy will collaborate with a representative from LivePerson, a technology company that develops conversational commerce and artificial intelligence (AI) software.
The goal is to showcase a new retail use case for AR sentiment analysis. Specifically, the demonstration will merge NexTech's AR features with LivePerson's conversational messaging platform and show several pairs of Tamara Mellon shoes as AR objects.
"The benefits of having an augmented reality view and one-touch purchase transaction without having to leave the native messaging application makes the e-commerce interaction super simple and seamless for consumers and changes the retail landscape forever," Scott Starr, LivePerson's area vice president of retail, said in the release.
