NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it signed Nordlands Granite Works, a stone engraving and masonry company, to its ARitize software-as-a-service e-commerce platform. It provides augmented reality (AR)-enhanced capabilities to customers so they may enhance the online shopping experience for their customers.
Specifically, Nordlands Granite will use the ARitize technology to showcase true three-dimensional AR models of its artwork. It also will allow prospective and existing clients to preview online, without having to drive to the showroom, the monument the company creates for them. Customers will be able to virtually place the fonts or designs on their plaque or stone of choice and look at them in three dimensions with full 360-degree rotation before purchasing.
"We are certain that the capabilities of AR will give our future clients peace of mind in knowing exactly what the monuments they are investing in will look like as they consider options for themselves or their loved ones," Dave van Nostrand, executive director of Norland's Granite Works, said in the release.
