An independent study of Enviroleach Technologies Inc.'s (ETI:CSE; EVLLF:OTCQB) extracting formulas achieved gold recoveries of over 93%, announced the company in a February 20 news release.
EnviroLeach Technologies commissioned the study to AuTec—a respected full-service metallurgical testing lab and piloting facility in Vancouver, Canada—as part of its enhanced third-party independent validation program, explained the Canadian company.
AuTec tested EnviroLeach's formulas to extract precious and base metals. The lab selected for the study three different samples from its own inventories and performed all tests and assays at its own facilities, independent of the near-term gold producer's staff.
Two types of tests were carried out on each sample, for a total of six tests. Each type of test was done with slightly different reagent profiles.
All six tests produced gold recoveries of over 93% within 24 hours, explained the company. Most of the tests achieved over 90% gold recoveries in less than three hours, it added.
"I am very pleased with the recent results from AuTec," said EnviroLeach Executive Vice President Ish Grewal.
He noted that the results of the AuTec study are similar to previous ones. "These impartial test results are similar to previous test results on work performed by our company and other independent metallurgical labs in North America," he commented.
Grewal added that studies like the one carried out by AuTec play an important role in the acceptance and adoption of a disruptive technology in his industry. "Even though we have performed thousands of these tests over the last two years, this type of independent third party validation plays an important role in the industry acceptance and adoption of such a disruptive technology," he stated.
According to its website, EnviroLeach is a technology company and near-term gold producer that develops and commercializes environmentally friendly formulas and technologies for the extraction of precious and base metals from ores, concentrates and electronic waste.
