Liberty Health Sciences Inc. (LHS:CSE) will open five new cannabis dispensaries in Florida by year-end 2018, each with local 24-hour delivery service, it announced in a news release. The dispensaries will offer pharmaceutical-grade cannabis products, educational tools and individual informational consultations.
The locations launching by the end of November are Miami and Dania Beach. The three debuting before the end of December are Hollywood, Bonita Springs and Orange Park. The dispensaries' hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
"Liberty is now expanding exponentially and has become a formidable player in the Florida market," CEO George Scorsis said in the release.
Liberty currently operates seven dispensaries and six delivery hubs throughout Florida; it intends to have 12 dispensaries by year-end, pending state Department of Health approval.
The company noted that it plans to increase its total cultivation space fo 225,000 square feet at its Gainesville facility.
