New opportunities should be a win-win for both company and subsidiary.

Sproutly Canada Inc. (SPR:CSE;SRUTF:OTCQB) announced in a news release that its subsidiary, Toronto Herbal Remedies (THR), received a new license under the Cannabis Act and its regulations. The license allows the company to, in part, sell cannabis to other licensed producers. The Health Canada license also allows THR to possess cannabis and to produce dried and fresh cannabis, cannabis plants or seeds by cultivation, propagation and harvest.

Additionally, as of Nov. 10, 2018, THR received license amendments approving all of the remaining 16,600 square feet at the facility for additional grow operations.

"This is yet another step towards our facility being fully operational in 2019," Sproutly President and CEO Keith Dolo said in the release. "This license provides THR the ability to expedite our operational model as well as provide THR with additional avenues for the sale of our products when ready."

Sproutly noted that it will keep executing its operational plan in Canada and in other regulated jurisdictions.
