The headline risk for uranium continues, but the macro fundamentals aren't as bad as the perception following the immediate aftermath of Fukushima.
While Germany was quick to announce the phasing out of its nuclear reactors, many other countries reaffirmed their commitment to nuclear power. The United Kingdom announced that it will move ahead with building eight new reactors. And Saudi Arabia has made a surprise announcement that it intends to build 16 reactors by 2030. Most importantly, the three major power houses for nuclear reactors China, India and Russia affirmed their continued interest in nuclear power.
