Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. is a junior exploration company aggressively exploring for minerals in British Columbia, Yukon and the Northwest Territories. The company identifies and secures early-stage exploration opportunities in gold, silver and base metals, then attracts joint venture interest to leverage their development. Eagle Plains controls over 30 gold and base metal projects and deposits, 7 of which are under joint venture or option, exposing Eagle Plains to over $18 million in exploration over the next five years. Joint venture partner NovaGold Resources recently announced an Inferred Resource estimate at Eagle Plains Copper Canyon Project of 2.8 million ounces of gold, 37.9 million ounces of silver and 1.16 billion pounds of copper. The mineralization remains open in all directions. 2005 exploration expenditures on EPL projects is expected to be in excess of four million dollars.
