Rick Mills, Ahead of the Herd (2/12/17)
"Manganese X Energy Corp.'s Battery Hill deposit is amenable to low-cost open-pit mining methods with low stripping ratios; manganese mineralization within the Battery Hill deposit is present as rhodochrosite, precluding the requirements for high-cost manganese reduction steps. On Dec. 21, the company announced that it completed its initial diamond drill program; assay results are expected soon."

Rick Mills, Ahead of the Herd (1/30/17)
"Electrolytic manganese is used as an alloying element in aluminum and copper alloys, as a colorant in bricks, and combined with lithium or nickel in batteries. . .its use in lithium-ion manganese batteries is its fastest and potentially most challenging application — if the US cannot access competitively priced and reliable supplies of manganese, a host of high-tech new applications will be lost to foreign competitors. . .we know the United States has long considered manganese a strategic material. . .the U.S. has no production of its own. . .So, shouldn't manganese suddenly becoming an "energy-critical element" be on our radar screens? Is manganese on your screen? If not, it should be."

As manganese gains attention as a potential major component in the next generation of battery technology, Manganese X Energy Corp. is moving rapidly into the North American manganese market.

Christopher Ecclestone, Hallgarten & Co. (12/6/16)
"Manganese X Energy Corp. has secured the Houlton Woodstock project in New Brunswick that is one of the largest Manganese showings in the North East of the US/Canada. . .target market is the Manganese battery space, which is perceived by many as the solution to looming Lithium and Cobalt shortages. . .Manganese is now being seen in many quarters as one of the rising battery metals. Manganese X is one of the few to have recognized this trend and is seeking to create a source of Electrolytic Manganese in North America where hitherto dependence upon China has been the norm."
