David is a senior analyst in BMO Capital Markets Equity Research, primarily focusing on the U.S. Metals & Mining sector, as well as helping coordinate the base/bulks Global Metals & Mining team.

David Gagliano has covered the sector on the sell side for 18 years. He has been recognized by the Institutional Investor survey as an All-America Research team member (top three or runner up) in each of the last 11 years. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets in 2014, Gagliano was with Barclays (2011-2014) and Credit Suisse (2005-2011) in New York, and with Credit Suisse in Canada (2002-2005). He began his investment banking career at Merrill Lynch (1995-2002). Gagliano has a B.A. from Georgetown University, an MBA from Vanderbilt, and is a CFA charterholder.
