She joined BMO Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Mining Research Tony Robson in a candid discussion with The Mining Report about the near- and medium-term prognosis for mining markets, as well as the outlook for copper, nickel and iron. While both Fung and Robson recommend waiting for the inevitable upturn in the commodities cycle, Robson says that in the meantime investors would do well to park their cash with some of the large, dividend-paying diversified miners until commodity prices recover, and he discusses three large caps and a couple of smaller names.
